Blue Heron is the perfect ‘get away from it all’, on one of Antigua’s most enchanting and secluded, white sand beaches. The hotel is intimate and friendly, and like all our resorts, right on a spectacular beach. An offshore reef makes the beach particularly good for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Blue Heron is ideal for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or just to spend some quality time together. While other resorts in the group welcome families and children of all ages, this resort is for adults only.
During the day, Blue Heron has a range of activities for you to enjoy on the beach, or you can relax around the freshwater outdoor pool. In the evenings guests can enjoy delicious food and authentically Caribbean entertainment. Once the sun has gone down, the Heron Restaurant plays host to a buffet of delicious creole cuisine, alongside international favourites. The lively Poolside Bar overlooking the sea is the perfect setting for cocktails as the sun goes down, whilst after dinner, the Everglades Lounge is a great place to relax and take in some traditional Antiguan culture.
Please note that the Blue Heron is a non-smoking hotel. Guests are of course welcome to smoke on the beach and in designated smoking areas in the resort (all restaurants, areas serving food, rooms, covered bars and lounges are non-smoking).
Please note that this hotel will continue to be closed from the 5th of December 2008 onwards and througout 2009 for further redevelopment.
